The Battle of Izumisawa was a failed attempt by the Sorewa Liberation Uprising (SLU) to capture the Collective Kel-Elemi Republic's (CKER) capital.

Background

Izumisawa was the sight of unorganised attacks during the Seireimeiko and the first few days of the Kel-Elemi Civil War, but eventually came back under the deciceve control of the Collective Kel-Elemi Republic (CKER).

Battle

The Sorewa Liberation Uprising (SLU) began an assault on the city on 13-7 10 PC. Rockets and artillery bombard the city whilst armoured vehicle and tank columns move through and quickly captured the city's northern districts.

Though northern Izumisawa was captured the SLU was unable to elevate turrets high enough to hit troops in high rises or low enough to hit ground fighters. The SLU called off the attack on 16-7 10 PC, after suffering massive casualties.
