The CNN-Tietero Goose Incident was a disaster that killed hundreds in Niueyjar and strained Niueyjar-Tietero relations.

Incident

Gooses deployed

On 29-5 Tietero sent a goose to all representatives on the Inter-governmental Radio System (except for the Yotumic Divisionary Federation) including Council Head of the Council of Directors of the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar, Heidr Gullveigdaughter on 29-5 9 PC. Niueyjar thanked Tietero for their gift and ordered an armed escort to pick it up. The next day Tietero shipped out a second Goose to all who got a first.

The Geese show up

The first goose arrived at Niueyjar on 7-6 9 PC. During it's initial rampage the goose killed 300 people. Soon after the CNN began mass evacuations in preparation for the arrival of the second goose. The second goose arrived in the morning of 8-6 9 PC ,shortly after the Government of Tietero attempted to remotely terminate the geese and severed ties with the CNN. The Confederated Nations of Niueyjar Territorial Defence Force Gander Division (CNNTDFGD) reported that the termination had failed and had only made the geese angrier. The geese began to multiply on 10-6 9 PC. To resolve this the CNNTDFGD began to try ship the new geese to Tietero, which Tietero welcomed.

Gas

On 14-6 9 PC, a Niueyjara farmer who had ignored the evacuation order mixed several chemicals together in hopes of tricking the geese into swimming in it and damaging themselves. Instead they created mustard gas and ended up killing both themself and the gees.

Aftermath

The CNNTDFGD began producing mustard gas at a an industrial scale on 25-6 9 TT for use in future anti-goose operations.

The geese offspring shipped to Tietero were sold for use as food. On 18-6 9 PC restaurants in Zamenhof put a special on goose dishes due to the influx.
