Syncretism is the combination of different beliefs or schools of thought, typically in the context of religion. Syncretism involves the assimilation of previously discrete traditions and the assertion of unity between faiths.

Syncretism in the Caseic Federation

The Caseic Federation has two dominant religions: Framjism and Gastism. Framjist syncretists believe that the Framjist god of the ground Achea and the Gastist god of the soil Ajia are in fact the same god. However, most Framjist syncretists do not believe that the Framjist god of the water Chae and the Gastist god of the seas Pechi are the same, instead believing that Pechi is the brother of Achea/Ajia, and Chae is the daughter of Achea/Ajia, in line with both theologies.
