A tirata is a subdivision of the Faltiran m'litir (excluding the Confederation of Glanes). Tirati are bound by the laws of their m'litir as well as imperial law, and their governors are typically appointed by the m'litir's legislature. There are 16 tirati in the Empire of Faltir, of which; 9 are in the Kingdom of Aryhtir, 4 are in the Kingdom of Strilter, and 3 are in the Duchy of Melor.
