The Greater Nayela Union (G.N.U. or GNU) was the largest state of the Caseic Federation. It is itself a federation of five states: Abayea, Bainachia, Brenjia, East Nayela, and West Nayela. Its capital is Framaja-Nayela, a city shared between the states of West and East Nayela. Its most populous and prosperous city is Brenji, in Brenjia, which is the main port of the trade between coal and Hydrochloric acid.

Independence movement
During the Caseic Blackout, Framjist rebels began openly supporting G.N.U. independence.
Independence referendum
In 27 PC, there was a referendum on whether the G.N.U. should become independent from the Caseic Federation. The referendum passed by the margin of a single vote.
