Biography

Early life

Ambat was born around 1840 TT. His father Harmak was an important member of the Amarken. His mother Banik was from the Garvak.

Ambat's father became the leader of the Amarken around 1831 TT.

Around 1823 TT, the Amarken was attacked by the Andu Kur. During the attack, one of the raiders struck Ambat's leg, shattering it. Though Ambat survived the ordeal, his leg never fully recovered and was left with a permanent limp. Harmak was also wounded during the battle and suffered from an infection that left him infertile.

Final days

Harmak died on 24-9-1795 TT. After three days of mourning, Ambat proclaimed himself the leader of the Amarkens. With the Amarkens at the time was Ambat's second cousin Kadar of the Arkarans. He challenged Ambat's claim to leadership of the Amarkens through the right of blood. The two engaged in a duel with Kadar emerging victorious and Ambat fatally wounded.
