Biography

Political career

Donald Young was a Member of Parliament Hall, the Minister for the Kel-Elemi Department of Labour and a supporter of President of the Collective Kel-Elemi Republic, Robert Grayson.

Assassination

On 18-11 9 PC Donald Young was hosting an event in Nodakh for local supporters of Robert Grayson. During the event member of the Sorewa Liberation Uprising, Undrin Goveok entered the building using a stolen security pass. Concealing a pistol, he waited for Young to talk to journalists in the lobby. Halfway through talking to a local television crew, Goveok fired two shots from his pistol. The first bullet missed but the second hit Young in the head killing him instantly.

Goveok was quickly subdued by security officials and a camera crew whilst waiting for police to arrive. Meanwhile, the building was evacuated, and Deputy Minister of Labor Trent Hardin was informed he was now the acting Minister for Labor. The assassination was captured on film by several cameras and footage of the attack was shown on late-night news on television and the press.
