History

The Weer Nation was established on 22-10 1939 TT as a confederation of several Weer fishing villages.

Throughout its early history, the Weer Nation was routinely raided by the Andu Kur, who were the dominant power on the island of Akaria before being made a vassal state of the Andu Kur on 8-11 1907 TT.

Weer living standards were incredibly low during their time as an Andu Kur vassal, as was the case with other Andu Kur vassals. On 13-10 1860 TT, the Oceanic Council voted to secretly research weapon technology to overthrow their Andu Kur overlords.

On 1-1 1790 TT, the Weer Nation executed an attack against the Andu Kur using their newly developed incendiary weapons, beginning the Andu-Weer War. The new weapons proved highly effective against the Andu Kur, though the Andu Kur's capital was located within the Thessda Range making any proper invasion of the city difficult. The war ended on 6-6 1780 TT. By this point, the Weer Nation had expanded westward into territory formerly held by the Andu Kur and her vassals, whilst the Andu Kur now existed almost entirely within the Thessda Range. The Weer Nation was now the dominant power on Akaria.

Shortly after the war, the Weer Nation established friendly relations with the Akarinian Confederation who had formed due to their own war against the Andu Kur.

As time went on the Weer Religion fell out of favour with the Weer in favour a version of Mirroi called Weer Mirroi.

On 8-6 1608 TT the Weer Nation joined the Akarinian Confederation.

The Weer Nation was dissolved on 19-1 1196 TT when the Akarinian Confederation was reorganised into the Kingdom of Akaria, although the Oceanic Council remained.
