YDF Congress

The YDF Congress is the legislature of the Yotumic Divisionary Federation (YDF).

Composition

The YDF Congress is composed of the 5 members of the Upper Congress and the 170 members of the Lower Congress. During times of crisis the Upper Congress may appointe a leader of Congress who acts as the Head of State of the YDF.

Function

The YDF Congress passes amendments and laws with a 60% majority. All amendments and laws can be vetoed by the Upper Congress. 80% of amendments and laws are vetoed.

Any member of the YDF Congress can begin impeach procedings against any member of the Lower Congress with the Lower Congress member bring removed with a 60% majority vote.

Actions

15-8 2 PC - Removed Lower Congressperson Roganta from the government.

30-11 4 PC - Closed borders. Ordered the expulsion of all beings not born on Nongba with the exception of ambassadors. Barred all citizens of the YDF not on Nongba or Ronanata from reentering Nongba with the exception of ambassadors and their students. Ordered the end of all trade with communities outside of the YDF.

9-12 4 PC - Made all communication between Nongba and outsiders only permissible through Habo'ana and Yotumic Divisionary Federation Defense Force vessels. All people who enter or leave Nongba without permission will automatically be considered enemies of the state and executed in traditional form.

17-11 7 PC - Appointed Yun Yan'il to the position of "acting leader"

14-12 16 PC - Accused the Tun'ilhameng Liberation Procedure of assassinating Yun Yan'il after her disappearance.
