Biography

Early life and origins

Since 1094 TT the Deram had been divided into two branches; one leading the Deram and the other serving as the Warden of the Andu. During the 10th Living Election of 970 TT and 969 TT the ossbosches of the Deram were split on which of the two lines to elect from leading to the non-Deram affiliated Vachar Sartak being elected Living King. Following this a deal was made between Harakoph Deram, Leader of the Deram and Koroghot Deram, Warden of the Andu. Harakoph's daughter Kotomai would marry Koroghot's son Tuyoph, the first son produced by them would be declared the successor to both the Leader of the Deram and the Warden of the Andu. Kotomai gave birth to Arkuph on 1-12 968 TT.

Koroghot died on 29-2 939 TT automatically making Arkuph Warden of the Andu. Harakoph died later that year on 21-9, three days after that Arkuph became the Leader of the Deram.

12th Living Election

Living King Dakoph Perat died on 29-5 922 TT triggering the 12th Living Election. Arkuph was elected Living King on 13-6 922 TT.

Living King

On 29-7 922 TT the Ossbosche of Agrada, Katoi Jakor inherited a small goyalal orchard in the Dakon Kadrike. Shortly after a rumour began circulating that the orchard had been given to him by Geikut Dakon, Leader of the Dakon as a bribe. On 21-10 922 TT Arkuph – in his capacity as Leader of the Deram – removed Jokor from his postion as Ossbosche of Agrada. On 1-1 920 TT Katoi Jakor anounced to several bosches he had known as an ossbosche, that during his time as an ossbosche he had pieced together the descendants of Wayok's son Ukat and that he was among those descendants. He declared the return of the Arkara (A term used at the time to describe Kadar's tribal group following the creation of the Akarian Confederation) and his own status as Leader of the Arkara. These events were ignored by Arkuph.

Death

Arkuph Deram died on 10-5 878 TT, triggering the 13th Living Election.
