The CFS Fromachi II is a transport ship of the Caseic Federation.

History

Brisa–Panifra Trading

The CFS Fromachi II was originally constructed by the Brisa Shipbuilding Company for trade across the Brisa strait. She was laid down on 567-3-10 (4-10 6 TT) and first launched on 567-Z-27 (24-6 5 TT). At this time, she was originally named CFS Brisa 567:4. Initially, she was assigned to transport goods between the ports of Nisi and Jiricaya, registered jointly by the Nisi Trading Association and the Jiricaya Trading Company.

Eighth voyage

On the eighth voyage, the Jiricaya Trading Company decided to reduce the quantity of hardtack on board by one. Near the end of the voyage, as this became apparent, the crew reportedly cursed Ajia and committed mutiny before freeing the captain shortly thereafter. For the ninth voyage, the crew petitioned the Nisi Trading Association for additional provisions of hardtack. The trading association denied their request, so the crew sneaked unmarked crates of hardtack onto the ship. They then left the captain behind and headed south, around the coast of Casea. As this was several years before the Grand Calming, multiple crew members raised objections against sailing outside the Brisa strait, and were thrown overboard. Their fears were proven right as the ship was tumbled through the stormy seas. The ship eventually ran aground in Bariyesa Bay with less than a tenth of the crew remaining. The remaining crew abandoned ship and fled inland with their crates of hardtack. The ship was later found by a local fisherman, and, under order of the Federal Council, was put under the control of Duke Fromachi II as it was in the territory of Jasfeya.

Exploration

On 6-2 1 PC, following the Grand Calming, the Federal Council authorised the CFS Fromachi II, along with the CFS Jiricaya to explore the ocean.

Interaction with Utlia

TBA

Attempted rescue of Robert Grayson

On 7-4 10 PC, the CFS Fromachi II docked at Kel-Elemi to rescue President of the Collective Kel-Elemi Republic, Robert Grayson as the country descended into chaos. The rescue mission was unsuccessful as Grayson was killed by rioters later that day.

First Battle of Tietero

In the First Battle of Tietero, the CFS Fromachi II was used to resupply the CFF Jasfeya. She was hit by the fallout of combinatory silicate projectiles, leading to the death of most of the crew.
