Erak

Erak is a city in the Nation of Niueyjar and the capital of Clan Erak.

History

Niueyjara Civil War

When the Niueyjara Civil War started on 14-3 1 PC Vidar Astridson, Sitting Calif of Clan Erak, sided with the Traditionalists and used his position as the Self Appointed Diplomat of the Nation of Niueyjar to try and hide the war for outside nations.

The Reformers launched an attack on Erak on 15-5 2 PC, which Clan Erak successfully repulsed. Docked at the city's port during the attack was an Utlian ship which was delivering crabs to Vidar. Vidar had the ship impounded and the sailors detained to prevent knowledge of the civil war from spreading off the island. To cover up the attack Vidar told the leaders of Akaria and Utlia that there had been an earthquake and the sailors were being treated.at the time was an Utlian ship delivering crabs to Vidar Astridson. Vidar had the crew of the ship detained whilst attempting to cover up the attack by claiming that an earthquake had injured the sailors and that they were receiving medical attention. Neither country believed this and began Operation Crab Rescue to extract the Utlians. As part of the operation an Akarian-Utlian strike force landed in Erak on 18-5 2 PC and during their brief stay managed to discover the location of the captives Utlians before departing.

On 7-3 4 PC the forces of Clan Helgen fired seven Akarian-made omtarre missiles at Erak. Thousands of civilians were killed in the attack along with Sitting Calif, Vidar Astridson.
