Biography
Early life
Amkoi Deram was born in Durantum, Kingdom of Akaria.
Amkoi, Living King and Leader of the Deram died on 17-10 1002 TT. Three day's after his death, Amkoi's son, Barakta proclaimed himself Leader of the Deram. Osar challenged Barakta through the right of blood and won the subsequent duel. Following the dual Osar proclaimed himself Leader of the Deram and was challenged by no one.
8th Living Election
Living King Chomort Perat's death on 11-8 987 TT triggered the 8th Living Election. Before the Barakta, now the Warden of the Andu endorsed Osar as the next Living King. Osar was elected on 25-8 987 TT.
Parallels
Since the release of the 2nd Bakoro in 1328 TT highly influential figures mentioned in the book were sometimes celebrated and worshipped in a similar manner to the Living Kings. Prior to Osar Living Kings had been reluctant to put a stop to the practice were their long-deceased relatives.
On 2-6, 976 TT Osar issued his 6th and 7th Dictates. His 6th Dictate created the title "King Parallel and Under the Living Kings", the title could be granted by the Living King to any deceased individuals he deemed fit. His 7th dictate banned the worship of any individual who was neither a Living King or a King Parallel and Under the Living Kings. People granted the new title soon came to be referred to as parallels,
Death
Osar Deram died on 29-12 1045 TT. His eldest son Harakoph succeeded him as the Leader of the Deram. Prior to his death, Osar had requested that Taurbui, one of his younger sons succeed him as Living King so Akaria would have one Living King for a long period of time. Taurbui was elected Living King via the 9th Living Election.
