Background

Orit was born in 27 TT to merchant Aakar Ebosi via his second wife, Lakaga Cokwaze. At that time, the agak of the Aakar family was Orit's grandfather Aakar Onoye. Orit was raised amongst his other siblings in his family residence and was educated privately by several tutors advised by his grandfather. He reportedly became literate very quickly, and began education in commercial affairs at 12 years old. In 2 TT Orit attended the eastern gardens with his father, whom then tripped and fell into the canals. In the process of rescuing his father, three men had been injured by a nearby hippopotamus, including Aakar Ebosi, whom would later die from complications from these wounds.

Business career

In 11 TT Orit bought a canoe and contracted a team of 4 men to deliver goods received at the Nakrama docks to surrounding villages, plantations and farms. By 9 TT this team had expanded to a team of 12 men and 5 canoes and Orit's success had aroused the suspicion of dock-workers, who began to circulate rumours that Orit's men had been stealing the goods from the dock warehouses at night, as opposed to legitimately purchasing them. The Nakrama mercantile court audited Orit's team but found that the goods had not been witnessed being stolen, thus not meeting traditional Oye trade laws forbidding their sale. From 6 TT to 2 PC, Orit would secure deals with Waaqi iron and copper traders before inheriting the family spice trade due to his father's death.

President of Okrit

A youth named Dom Masopo was beaten to death by police on 22-6 17 PC after allegedly “stealing an absurd quantity of fruit”. The day after the death protesters formed outside Orit’s domicile in Nkrama. Only two days later, Orit's second wife Aakar Emotjeye, was caught with stolen produce under her robes. Three men who were attempting to retrieve the stolen goods were injured by her personal guards whilst twelve more were injured whilst she was being escorted to the president’s domicile. Orit's guards were then put on alert as a larger crowd gathered around the estate. The next day the leader of Akaria, Living King, Harakar Oken proposed creating the Akarian-Okriti Alliance. Orit was more than happy to accept and left Okrit for Akaria the next day with his family to both officialise the alliance and to avoid the unrest in Nkrama. He and his family arrived at Akaria on 1-7 17 PC and had the alliance officialised. The Akarian Navy and Living Army took back Nkrama and put Orit back incharge of his country on 13-7 17 PC. Shortly after Orit cleared some land in Nkrama for Akaria to establish a base at to train his Okriti troops.
