History

Balmor-Ut was one of the first major cities in Utlia due to its river port used to transport and trade goods. In the industrial era, Balmor-Ut became a heavily industrious city focused on manufacturing goods. The population began to drop off as more factories and Manufacturing plants opened, lowering air quality and life expectancy. In the modern era, Balmor-Ut has become one of the most expensive cities in Utlia. When Utlia switched to air power and the quality of life shot up, the city became highly desirable for young creatives.

Geography

Balmor-Ut is situated on the Bal River, which connects to the western ocean. The city is situated on the outskirts of the Mor forest and is one of the lowest-elevation cities in Utlia.

Climate

The climate of Balmor-Ut has a reputation for being wet, overcast and rainy the majority of the year. the climate has historically been a major reason Utlian citizens say they would not want to live in the City.

Government

Balmor-Ut, like every other Utlian city is ruled by a mayor and the mayor's few advisors. The mayor of Balmor-Ut is Hia El, who was appointed by Yyme himself after gaining power. Hia is one of the least controversial mayors of the city, which has historically been quite against the current mayor.

Balmor-Ut has Utlia's most extensive streetcar network and its newest transit system, opened by governor and mayor Hia El along with the city's small Ferry network.

There is a railway linking Balmor-Ut to Kelna-Ut.
