Early life
Emalk Oken was born on 20-9 28 TT into the Oksken branch of the Oken.
Made Warden of the Oken
Emalk's father and Leader of the Oken, Johnakar Oken appointed Emalk Warden of the Oken on 27-9 3 TT. The duties of the Warden of the Oken amounted to running the day-to-day affairs of the Oken in the event that the Leader of the Oken was unable to, such as being away on a trip, being medically incapable or in the period between the death of one leader and the selection of another.
Filling in for Johnakar
Emalk's father and Leader of the Oken, Johnakar Oken had a stroke on 29-6 15 PC and was hospitalised, as Warden of the Oken, Emalk began to fill in for his day-to-day duties.
Death
In the lead up to String Day 17 PC, Johnakar Oken was deemed unable to perform his duties during the celebration and Emalk was called in to fill in for him. On String Day on 1-1, an improperly stored fireworks display exploded killing 13 people and injuring many more including Emalk, who died of her injuries the next day.
