Fromatica officially became the Federal Foreign Minister of the Caseic Federation on 15-2 1 PC, as a result of the activation of the First Contact Protocol. As Federal Foreign Minister, Fromatica oversaw the foreign affairs of the Federation from 1 PC until his assassination on ##-# 10 PC.

The Eastern Bloc was estalibshed on 23-1 5 PC. On that same day Casi Fromatica expressed an interest in having the Caseic Federation join the bloc. This proposal was voted down by the Federal Council on 28-1 5 PC via a 167-156 vote.

Casi Fromatica met with Living King, Harakar Oken on 8-6 7 PC as a part of Harakar's Tour of the Isles.

On 12-4 9 PC, Fromatica announced that he would talk to the Federal Council about looking into trade deals with the Collective Kel-Elemi Republic and the Confederated Nations of Niueyjar. Work was started on route with Kel-Elemi, but was canceled due to the outbreak of the Kel-Elemi Civil War on 7-4 10 PC.

Since the Grand Calming it had become aparent that the Caseic Federation lacked a flag. On 4-6 9 PC, Fromatica sent motion to the Federal Council that led to the creation of the Caseic Federal Flag Subcommittee.

On 2-4 10 PC President of the Collective Kel-Elemi Republic, Robert Grayson requested foreign assistance in Kel-Elemi as the country descended into chaos. As Kel-Elemi was developing trade ties with the Caseic Federation, Fromatica told Grayson that the Caseic Federation would look into it. On 7-4 10 PC, the CFS Fromachi II docked at Kel-Elemi with the intent of rescuing Grayson. The rescue mission was unsuccessful as Grayson was killed by rioters later that day. This failure caused Fromatica's aproval rating to drop by 32%.

Controversies

Within the Caseic Federation, Fromatica has many critics.

Early years

In the early years of the Post-Calm, it seemed that every day Fromatica spoke on the inter-governmental radio, a new controversy arose in the Federation.

"Fromage" Gaffe

On the first day that the Federation gained access to the inter-governmental radio, Fromatica made the following introduction to the other governments:

"Grewetings. This is Federal Fromage Minister Casi Fromatica."

This absurd statement was quickly followed by a correction:

"Foreign, not Fromage."

This gaffe immediately called into question whether Fromatica was fit for the office of Federal Foreign Minister. The Federal Council held a vote on whether to remove Fromatica from office on 18-2 1 PC, but the Council agreed in a 213-110 decision not to do so.

Anti-syncretic Beliefs

Fromatica's second controversy arose following Vidar Astridson's comments regarding atheism. Like Harakar of Akaria, Fromatica was unfamiliar with the concept of atheism, and asked for clarification:

Astridson: "I once had a friend I respected. Then I learned he was an atheist. Needless to say I had him executed and buried in an unmarked grave."

Harakar: "Sorry, a what?"

Fromatica: "I agree with Harakar here. I am also bewildered by this statement. What is meant by the term "atheist"?"

Astridson: "He believes that our religion is wrong"

Fromatica: "Like a syncretist? Like he thinks your religion is a reinterpretation of his?"

Naturally, this ignorant comment sparked outrage among the syncretist communities throughout the Caseic Federation, many of whom denounced Fromatica.

Record Gaffe

The following night, a discussion took place between Astridson and Harakar regarding their coal assets. Fromatica skimmed the record and decided to propose a trade deal with Niueyjar, offering coal in exchange for Siofutar goods. Harakar later pointed out that Fromatica had misread the record, and that Niueyjar had no need for coal. However, shortly thereafter, Harakar offered to buy Caseic coal in exchange for hydrochloric acid.

This gaffe strengthened the Federation's dissatisfaction with Fromatica. A portion of the Federal Council saw Fromatica's proposal of a trade deal not only be an embarrassment to the Federation but also an attempt by Fromatica to undermine the Council's authority. Two votes were thus scheduled for the next Legislative Session: one vote on whether to remove Fromatica from office and another on whether to allow the trade of coal for hydrochloric acid. On 24-2 1 PC, the council agreed not to remove Fromatica from office, and to allow free trade of coal and hydrochloric acid with the Kingdom of Akaria.

8 PC Ibe-Jibin Bombing

On 19-4 8 PC Jirichaya Broom was arrested for the 8 PC Ibe-Jibin Bombing in which 5 people were killed. Fromatica commented on the arrest saying "I guess you could say she didn't successfully sweep away the evidence" in reference the name Broom and Broom's ability at getting caught. The pun was seen as being in bad taste leading to Fromatica's approval rating dropping by one point the next day.
