Biography

Early life

Bonoi was born in Perisken, where his immediate family had been staying, whilst his father, Umanay Deram and grandfather and Living King, Garikoph Perat planned their upcoming invasion of the Andu Kur.

At some point in 1105 TT, following the war, it became apparent that Umanay's new role as Warden of the Andu meant that he would not be returning from the Thesda Range and Bonoi was moved from Perisken to Durantum to live with his paternal grandfather Kutugh Deram. Umanay returned from the Thesda Range on 6-5 1103 TT when he was elected Living King. Bonoi decided to remain in Durantum instead of living with his father in Ablesken.

Warden of the Andu

On 5-11 1094 TT Warden of the Andu, Nuchur Lakar was killed whilst walking through the streets of Aesdu in the Thesda Range. Bonoi was made his sucessor on 15-2 1093 TT.

During Umanay's time as Warden of the Andu, he attempted to convert the Andu to Mirroi by creating the Andu Bakoro, which reinterpreted Andu beliefs and traditions through a Mirroite lens. Umanay's policy of conversion had become Akarian policy on 11-5 1103 TT with Umanay's 1st Dictate. As Warden of the Andu Bonoi ordered the deaths of any Andu who he and his forces considered to be against Mirroite teachings.

Living King

Bonoi Deram was elected Living King on 15-6 1078 TT.

Bonoi's 1st Dictate, issued on 12-5 1076 TT ordered the immediate evacuation of all converted Andu from Aesdu and barred any non-converted Andu from leaving. The Living Army, under the orders of Bonoi in his capacity as Warden of the Deram, began gradually killing the remaining population of the city. Bonoi's 2nd Dictate, issued on 20-10 1076 TT ordered the destruction of every, road building and foundation in Aesdu. The city was completely gone by the end of the year.

During Bonoi's reign, the Living Press continued to produce large amounts of anti-Andu propaganda, which had previously ceased during the reign of Bonoi's father. On 9-6, 1061 TT Bonoi issued his 22nd Dictate nullifying Umanay's 1st Dictate.

Death

Bonoi Deram died on 27-6 1035 TT.
