Biography

Early life and education

Kamore Deram (born Kamore) was born on 13-10 1684 TT to future Living King Ekank of the Deram and his wife Sike of the Dar.

A few years before Kamore's father became the Living King, his predececcor Wayok signed the Weer Garrison Treaty between the Akarinian Confederation and the Weer Nation. The treaty granted the Weer Nation the ability to garrison an unlimited number of forces within Akarinian Territory and was extremely unpopular within the Akarinian Confederation. On 26-5 1677 TT Ekank, now Living King convinced the Weer Nation to remove their garrison in exchange for his children being educated within the Weer Nation by the Weer. Kamore left for Manser two days later.

During his time with the Weer Kamore picked up many of their customs and attitudes towards things. At some point during his stay he began referring to himself as Kamore Deram as it was customary in Weer society for people to have last names. Kamore returned to the Akarinian Confederation on 13-10 1664 TT where his father put him to work managing the Deram.

De facto Leader of the Deram

On 16-3 1663 TT Kamore ordered around half of the Deram to settle where they established Durantum to serve as their capital. Around the new town Kamore had his people begin farming large amounts of combkar, a type of hardy grain which the Karinians had farmed in small quantities for centuries.

When Ekank died on 23-2 1630 TT Kamore succeeded him as Living King.

Living King

On 27-3 1630 TT Kamore issued Kamore's 1st Dictate defining the borders of the Akarinian Confederation. This was the first time dictate had ever been used in Akaria being something that Kamore had adopted from the Weer. Kamore's 2nd Dictate which was issued on 23-4 1630 TT, defined and gave Akaria a flag.

The Garvak, Sartak and Bojin joined the Akarinian Confederation on 28-1 1629 TT, 19-3 1624 TT and 5-9 1623 TT respectively. Each time one was added a new dictate was issued to readjust Akaria's borders

During Kamore's reign, relations with the Weer Nation were at an all-time high. On 8-6, 1608 TT Kamore issued Kamore's 33rd Dictate bringing the Weer Nation into the Akarinian Confederation. The move was brought about due to rising tensions between the Weer Nation and the Andu Kur. Their joining the Akarinian Confederation ensured the Karinian's involvement in any war with the Andu Kur. The inner workings of the Weer Nation were not at all affected by this change, with most Weer considering the Akarinian Confederation to be a collection of independent entities rather than a singular sovereign state.

Kamore Deram died on 17-2 1604 TT and was succeeded by his son Karkon Deram.
