The YDF Political Crisis began in late 16 PC following the death of Yun Yan'il.

- 14-12 YDF Leader Yun Yan'il disappeared in the Nongban Sea en route to Ronatana to discuss a ceasefire with the Tun'ilhameng Liberation Procedure (TLP).
- YDF patrols found TLP ships near the last known location of Yun Yan'il.
- The YDF Congress and press accused the TLP of assisinating Yun Yan'il.
- The YDF officially began their search for Yun Yan'il.
- The YDF found Yun Yan'il's vessel destroyed, approximately 3 leagues from Naval Platform 9.
- 15-12 Psaha Yol came out of retirement to become the new YDF Leader.
- 20-12 The YDF placed a bounty on Edward.
- 22-12 A fist fight broke out in the YDF congress.
17 PC
- 4-1 The 16/17 YDF Congressional Session ended with 12 senators injured and 2 dead.
- 11-2 Another fist fight broke out during a YDF congressional session.
- Psaha Yol put future congressional sessions on indefinite hold until the issue is resolved.
- 7-4 Leaders of opposing YDF factions created their own assemblies whilst Psaha Yol was at Johnakar and Emalk Oken's funeral.
- 22-4 2 YDF senators of the Federal Association were found dead in their homes.
- 24-4 The YDF's Bureau of Propaganda increased their coverage of the political divisions in the YDF.
