Biography

Early life

Storm Perat was born on 4-10 74 TT.

False War

On 9-12 10 TT, Storm's nephew, Tyshok Perat released the Tyshok Report, revealing that members of the Arkara had been responsible for the deaths of many high profile people across the Karin Plain. Living King, Bantar Arkara's refusal to condemn those named led to the False War.

Storm's son and 2nd in line to the Leadership of the Perat, Drotur Perat was killed in a bombing on 16-7 6 TT along with both of his sons. Following the incident Arkerus sent Storm to the town of Orak to go into hiding.

On 4-1 5 TT Arkerus Perat was killed in a bombing at the Pero Fortress. Storm was made Leader of the Perat on 7-1 5 TT from Orak.

The False War ended on 14-7 4 TT with Bantar Arkara's assassination. Storm came out of hiding shortly after.

43rd Living Election

Bantar's death triggered the 43rd Living Election. During the False War the Perat had led the opposition to the Arkara and Storm assumed that that would translate into his candidat – his son Eltok Perat – being elected Living King. However, the ossbosches who were unafliiated with either-side in the coflict argued that they could not elect a candidate from the anti-Arkara side as one of them was likely responsible for the death of Bantar, leading to the unafliated Harakar Oken being elected Living King on 30-10 2 TT.

Proposed alliance with the Deram

Storm was not happy about Harakar's election but initialy decided to see how he did as Living King. On 5-2 7 PC, Harakar Oken departed Akaria on his Tour of the Isles, atrip that would take around half a year. Storm did not like that at all and decided that he aught to take some sort of action against Harakar. He decided on forming an alliance with the Deram. Storm was not a fan of the Deram as they had been rivals for many years but he felt that stopping Harakar was worth putting aside old rivalries. He began exchanging letters with Leader of the Deram, Ara Deram in late 7 PC in the letter Storm tried to convince Ara that there was an alliance between the Oken and the Arkara, who were ancient enemies of the Deram. On 8-10 7 PC additional mineral resources began flowing from the Deram Kadrike into the Perat Kadrike to be used in constructing arms for the Perat Army.

The Dakota Mine –one of the many mines in Akaria opperated by the Deram– ceased to function on 17-2 8 PC. This happens sometimes and is not nromaly an issue despite this Harakar wanted to question Ara and recruited Storm to help him find him as he was aware of the warming relations between the Deram and the Perat. Harakar, Storm and Storm's grandson, Scribe to the Living King, Lightning Perat met with Ara on 23-5 8 PC. The meeting went poorly with a fight breaking out after Storm called Ara's dead uncle a coward. Ara ended up breaking Storm's pelvis and Lightning had broke Ara's jaw. It was only through Harakar's intevention that they all survived the incident. The next day all trade ties between the Perat and the Deram were severed.

Retirement

Storm handed off most of his duties to his son Eltok Perat on 15-3 9 PC due to ongoing health issues caused by his fight with Ara in 8 PC.

Storm succumbed to his injuries on 27-7 15 PC.
