Biography

Early life

Artak was born in Agrada on 15-4 55 TT to Kamakta Arkara and his wife Amailide. At the age of four his grandfather, the Ossbosche of Grada Herkaz Arkara sent Artak to the city of Saeskar to be raised by relatives there. Artak was educated at the Skrake Brown and Green School from 44 TT until his graduation as bosche in 34 TT. On 7-2 31 TT the Ossbosche of Saekraim Temurak Skrake put Artak in control of a shrine to Gotiph as an udenbosche.

Udenbosche

The Ossbosche of Saekraim, Huzok Skrake died on 18-6 11 TT from, what was ruled at the time to be a heart attack. Artak Arkara was elected to replace him on 25-6 11 TT.

Ossbosche

On 9-12 10 TT, the Leader of the Perat, Arkerus Perat announced that the Perat had uncovered a plot by the Arkara to try and seize more power within the Ossbosche Assembly. The documents presented linked the Arkara to the deaths of multiple ossbosches and prominent udenbosches, including Huzok Skrake. These revelations began the False War. During the False War, many ossbosches, udenbosches and members of the Kadrikes were assassinated or driven into hiding. Artak, however, continued to publicly serve as the Ossbosche of Saekraim, personally surviving over a dozen assassination attempts. On 13-7 4 TT, Artak's uncle, Living King, Bantar Arkara was assassinated. Artak left for Ablesken to elect his successor and remained in the capital until 30-10 2 TT when Harakar Oken was named Living King.

As the years went by, public opinion of the Arkara continued to deteriorate. On 4-2 3 PC, Harakar Oken issued Harakar's 10th Dictate, which barred members of the Arkara from serving as ossbosches. Artak refused to recognize the dictate and did not step down. Three days later, a group of soldiers sent by the Ossbosche Assembly arrived at the Skrasken Ordok to forcibly remove Artak from his position. Artak's guards killed three of them before they retreated. The next day, Artak's father and Leader of the Arkara, Kamakta Arkara, declared the Arkara's defiance to the dictate, beginning the Arkara Uprising of 3 PC. The Living Army was sent to capture Arkara held ossletes in the Arkara Kadrike and the Skrake Army was sent to capture Saekraim. The Skrake Army quickly captured most of Saeskar but Artak and a group of his forces managed to holdour in the Skrasken Ordok. Peace was achieved on 24-3 3 PC, when Kamakta recognizing the dictate in exchange for total ammnesty in regards to the uprising. Artak stepped down as the Ossbosche of Saekraim later that day.
